Tele Command Decoder Digital

Telecommand System is Used in missile for Range safety. The unit can receive coded commands for SAFE, ARM,TT(Thrust termination) & DESTRUCT functions form ground stations.

The FSK modulated UHF band carrier from ground are received by the on-board antennas and power combined and fed to a UHF receiver. The receiver demodulated base band signal fed to the Command decoder. The command decoder decodes the commands and drives the respective command relays, which in turn activate pyro chains.

Tele Command Receiver

The Telecommand Receiver is designed to operate in the UHF band.The receiver is a single conversion Super heterodyne type receiver. The IF signal is detected to recover the base band data. The receiver feature high operational sensitivity of about -102dBm and dynamic range of 80 dB. The receiver is designed from scratch using LNA, RF BPFs, IF BPSs, MIXER Local Oscillator (LO), Limiting amplifier, FM demodulator.

The Telecommand Ground System Unit generates test signals UHF Band with FSK modulation. The FSK modulation is generated internally to simulate the telecommands. The unit is used to test other telemetry sub systems like telecommand receiver, telecommand decoder and telemetry power combiners. The unit uses synthesis approach for generation of high carrier stability and accuracy. The unit delivers an output of +20 dBm power at 434 MHz carrier frequency.

Tele Command FM Transmitter

This is telecommand transmitter which can accept FM base band signal fro 20 KHz to 2 MHz and modulate on a S band carrier. The carrier is generated from a stable phase locked source reference to a crystal source of high frequency stability. The unit is packaged in a size of 70x60x25mm. The operating voltage is 10 to 18 V DC and draws about 600 ma. The out has very low spurious level os less than -60dBc.
